Black Box Fix restaurant opens in Easton Town Center

By Okon Ekpenyong and Emerald Lembe

Ohio, Cleveland-based restaurant chain business, Black Box Fix has opened in the Columbus city major mall, Easton Town Center.

Owned by Chef Eric and Layota Rogers with their business partner, Laraese Purnell, the restaurant is expected to bring the creole and Cajun-style dining experience to its Columbus customers.

Black Box Fix came out of Eric Roger’s extraordinary world of homemade cuisine experience, which was introduced to him at a young age while helping out in his grandparent’s restaurant.

Overtime, Eric’s love for cooking grew, and he witnessed the reaction of those trying his meals becoming a daily request.

With the support of his business partner Larese Purnell and his spouse, Layota Roger, Black Box Fix is occupying the former home of Zest Juice Co at the premier shopping mall that draws more than 30 million visitors annually.

Columbus restaurant is the third location in the state, including one in Legacy Village in Lyndhurst and Glenvillage in Cleveland, Ohio.
